The best shoulder workouts at gym, for both men and women, are those exercises that are my favorite. Well, I don’t do all 14 shoulder workout together. I chose 5 to 6 from the list and do each 3 sets.

Shoulder workouts is something, I find, many women avoid; even there are some men who does not pay attention to the shoulders. Before I could even start my training with the newbies, they say, “Ma’am, we have come for weight loss. We will not do weight training because that’s a man’s domain.”

Man’s domain? Really?

I still fail to understand why exercises are so gender-biased. Swimming is not man’s domain, running is not man’s domain, playing badminton is not man’s domain BUT strength training is man’s domain!

Here comes my favorite list of shoulder exercises for you to do at gym. And again, as I always say, don’t blankly start with the exercises. Talk to your gym trainer; he is the best person to guide you which should workout you should do, the reps, the sets, and the weights to be used.

A reminder here: Do not forget your warm up and cool down stretches. These are equally important. Don’t just walk in a gym, lift weights and start with your exercises. This is the worst one can do.
